Can you also send me the rest of the questions and what they are looking for..

Mickey

You said it! It is scary how people who swear to protect you are wanting to cover up who they really are. Wow is right!  :-?

Hello Thug Cop Please send a copy to brentjiw@yahoo.com thanks from a service connected vet

Richard

I will be taking the MMPI 2 very soon. If anyone could please send me the other questions and any guides/suggestions. I would greatly appreciate it.

There is nothing wrong with knowing what you are in for, re testing. I think it helps to put a person at ease. The un known for the average person, especially when out of their comfort zone is a little daunting! Mr moral judgement on this site, for all we know may be the most dishonest   person you have ever met. lol

Kathleen

For any people to whom have responded, if you need to read this to "secure yourself" for a test to become an officer. Why? Why do you need to know what is on the test to prepare? You shouldn't have to prepare for a test that shows you will be mentally stable to be an officer. If you feel you need to "prepare" you just may not be stable enough to have this job. And for the person who posted... I sure hope you're not a cop in my neighborhood.. Why would you give a heads up on a test so people can research answers that they may not be true to them? That is how we have cop riots and shooting issues. Testing people, passing tests because someone gives answers they are not truly experiencing and are not stable for this job to begin with. Shame on you.

Kathleen

Totally agree... What's worse is.. The person who posted is helping people who are unstable become people whom are our "protection!"

Kathleen

One more thing..
If this is a true test, serious editors are needed for words that do NOT exist, misspelling and bad punctuation.

Kathleen

@ laurel

To bad that people who are nervous for a test STILL feel the need they have to prepare "calmness" if they are wanting to be an officer. You cannot prepare for a stressful situation in real life, such as a gun to your head unexpectedly. Being nervous for this test is probably natural. HOW nervous someone is is probably how they can tell if someone is a good candidate in our community. Please! I don't want cops in my neighborhood that need cheat sheets to protect my children's lives.

A little melodramatic Kathleen. Being a good cop is an attribute that cannot be measured with a test.

I am very annoyed. My ex has 4 lawyers and even though I won custody of our son the first 3 times he sued, now this new judge thinks that I need an MMPI. I have custody of my first 2 children from a previous relationship. Even the doctor giving the test said it was crap that I was ordered to take it. How does this test figure out if I am a good mother?! UGH. ::)

The above website should help you in reading your results.  From what I can tell offhand your Superlative Self-Presentation T score was a little high (74).   Hope this helps

Hello, all. This has all been very helpful. At the end of the month I am scheduled to take this exam as part of my upcoming employment where I will be stationed somewhere pretty remote for an extended period of time.

Using the link that @ CopwithaPhD posted, I reviewed the results and I think I am interpreting things correctly, but a few more sets of eyes on it would be greatly appreciated. For what it's worth, I was honest in my responses and didn't try to "look good". Thank you all for your time.
