Steroids= Not hired?

Would a week long steroid usage be frowned upon by police departments. Be that it was back in high school and i now am 24 yrs of age...I do not know the drug policy for the dept. Chicago inv told me some depts may overlook minor usage..

I depends on the department's policy regarding drug (steroid) use. Some list the acceptable number of uses, others weigh all the circumstances, i.e. the time elapsed since last use, the drug in question, how many times, etc.  The best thing to do is research the policy of the department you are interested in.
