As noted on the blog, FBI Director Kash Patel has reportedly ordered more than two dozen FBI employees to submit to polygraph "testing" in an attempt to determine who might be speaking with journalists. Former federal prosecutor and current legal analyst Glenn Kirschner comments on why this is a bad idea, without even going into polygraphy's scientific shortcomings:
