Question on Polygraphers

So, the polygraphers are looking at you to see if you know any of the jargon or any other ways that show you researched the test.  Now what if you go in acting like a complete sucker? I mean something along the lines of making them believe that you think the machine is a complete lie detector and they are like super humans that can detect anyone deceiving them.  What kind of rapport does that build?  When you play to their hubris and make them believe you buy into their lie.
