Im TAKING the POLY AGAIN LAPD should I?

I passed everything given to me by the LAPD except for the POLY.  After 1 year they said I was untruthful about my responses and said I used an illegal sub.  Funny thing is I never used GHB in my life.  I just knew and remebered that my Frat did.

Well that was irriating and I wrote a letter requesting further review of my applicationa and a copy of the Poly.

After a 1 month they gave me a call to schedule another Poly.  SHould I take it?  I just get too nervous. If I dont take it will it looki like I am a Liar and will this test disqualify me for every other job that i apply for that requires a poly.  


Further, Im tempted to employ some techniques discussed in the downloadable book.  To see if I can do any better.

You didn't state a time frame for your 2nd poly, however you need to download and read The Lie Behind The Lie Detector from this site. You DID NOT fail, you were victimized by a pseudoscientic fraud that has never been proven to be accurate by scientific methods. You will discover how the polygraph "exam" works and how everything is dependent on the polygrapher lying to you to achieve the intended results they want.

Also read through some of the posts on this site. There are others who didn't pass the LAPD poly, went through the appeals process and got a second chance. They got educated through this site and Doug Williams //www.polygraph.com and were SUCCESSFUL by employing what they learned about countermeasures. The decision to use countermeasures is a personal one based on your values.

So GET EDUCATED, KNOWLEDGE IS POWER!

Yes, you should absolutely take another polygraph.  You're extremely lucky to get another chance (I know from experience) and you'd be a fool not to take it.  I disputed the results of my first LAPD polygraph exam, endured a protracted investigation that only revealed the ineptitude of their background investigators, and passed a second polygraph with flying colors.  The key to success: countermeasures.  Download "The Lie Behind the Lie Detector" and/or Doug Williams manual.  The techniques are easy to master and, although you will still be slightly nervous (I was), you will feel much better knowing that you are in charge.  Good Luck.  Don't let this opportunity slip by.
