An opinion rendered by the Court of Appeals for the Eighth District of Texas on 27 April 2016 is of relevance to Texans subject to post-conviction screening programs. The case is Pena v. Texas (No. 08-00038-CR) and the opinion is available online here. I have also attached a copy to this post.
