Automatic disqualifier????

I applied for a department and did not make it past the initial application. I made an admission on my application that I used the services of a prositute some years ago. They told me that the application would not make it through and to not even waste my time going further. I was told by some people when they ask me have i ever applied to another agency say no. Please help.

LEOLP, I conduct background investigations and polygraph examinations for a Law Enforcement agency within Maryland.  The admission would not exclude you as a viable candidate for employment within our organization. Check other agencies, the criteria differs.
