Hi guys, I think I'm correct in assuming that the polygraph the RCMP uses to screen potential employees is the CQT. If I'm wrong, please correct me.

If this is so, how am I to differentiate between the ever important relevant questions and the control questions?

Anybody have a breakdown of the control and relevant questions used???

That's cheating!  The test is 98% accurate.  Even more accurate than X-rays.  As for countermeasures, YOU WILL BE DEDECTED!!  So behave!   :D

Seriously though, relevant questions are specific and loaded.  "Have you ever stolen an item over $100?",  "Have you taken ANY illegal drug within the last 3 years?...etc.  Answer truthfully.  If they claim you are lying, or seem to be "holding something back".  They are bullshitting.  Do not volunteer ANYTHING, they could POSSIBLY twist and blow out of proportion to fail you.  And don't get mad and resist the urge to bunch the arrogant sob out when if he calls you a dirty fibber!   :(

Controls are more general.  "Have you ever lied to a person of authority?",  "Have you ever betrayed a friend to get ahead?".  They want you to lie so they can measure your reaction and compare it to the relevants.

"There is no direct and unequivocal connection between lying and these physiological states of arousal...(referring to polygraph)."
