MEPS and Medical History

I have a question regarding my medical history going into MEPS. Last October, I got sent to the ER last October because I had a "panic attack" but I was never diagnosed with anything. My recruiter says that since I was never diagnosed with anything, I shouldn't mention it at MEPS.

In the ER paperwork, it said that I have ovarian cysts. The only ultrasound I have says that ovaries appear normal size, PCOS appearance. Is this going to be a problem?

Also, when I was four I had ear tubes placed in because my adenoids were enlarged, causing me to have many ear infections. After the surgery, I had no problems after wards. My recruiter said that since I don't remember the surgery, and I haven't had a problem since, that I don't have to mention it.

the original navy person I spoke to said everything shouldn't be a problem, but each time I go talk to my recruiter he acts like I'm trying to disqualify myself. I'm not, and I don't want to lie.

What I'm trying to ask, is everything going to be OK?

jinx,

I'm not able to give you an informed opinion regarding your medical eligibility for military service, but your recruiter is not looking out for your best interest when (s)he advises you to withhold information about your medical history. Your recruiter is just trying to fill a quota.

I think it would be best for you to answer all questions about your medical history completely and truthfully. That way, when you do enter the navy (as you likely will if you have no medical condition that would prevent you from serving), should you ever develop a serious medical condition, you cannot be denied treatment because of a fraudulent enlistment.
