Okay folks,

Today I took the CVSA test. I just want your opinion. I  was 100% honest.

The person who administered the test sat me down in a room and began telling me his credentials, how the CVSA worked, the difference between the CVSA and the polygraph etc. We then reviewed the 29 questions that were going to be asked during the actual exam. The exam starts...questions are asked that are obviously going to be "true" statements. Such as is your name ""....then he asked me questions that he wanted me to lie about. He also asked me serious questions such as....have I ever stolen from and employer etc.

After we are done with all 29 questions he says that we are going to go through it one more time just to compare the 2 readings.

I finished those questions. I was never questioned weather or not my answers showed any discrepancies. He thanked me and sent me on my way. I asked when I would hear something. He said that the lady that called to set up the CVSA exam would call me tomorrow and let me know what step in the hiring process is next.

Does it sound like I could have passed? He didn't try to interrogate me at all or question my honesty or dishonesty at all.

Your thoughts?

The absence of a post-test interrogation suggests that the CVSA operator passed you.

i dont belive that these types of test are legit anyways. but does the ploygraph examiner base the test "results" by weather or not he likes the person hes testing? or if his gut tells him..."yeah i think shes telling the truth" its all screwy to me.

As with the polygraph, examiner bias may influence the outcome of a CVSA "test."
