Told the truth, failed polygraph, passed CVSA

I voluntarily (my first mistake) agreed to take a polygraph test conducted by a law enforcement agency for a criminal investigation. I did this voluntarily, knowing that I had nothing to hide. At the conclusion of the test, the examiner said that I had several deceptive indicators during the test. To make a long story short, I basically told the examiner he was full of it and his test was wrong. The examiner initially stated that he was impartial and only wanted the truth to be reveiled. I found this doubtful, since his questions were somewhat biased. I'll explain; he would ask questions that could be answered in several ways and questions that included my entire life experiences. I thought it was kind of "stressful" trying to go back that far to remember things.
The criminal phase closed without anything else happening to me. They had absolutley no evidence which was very clear. My employer ordered (in conjunction with our contract) another test, this one being a CVSA. I was very nervous about taking this test since I alledgedly failed the first test and had no faith in these machines. Again, to make a long story short, I passed the CVSA test with flying colors. The CVSA examiner stated that he believed the examiner that gave the polygraph test did not conduct the test properly and within the guidelines of the testing procedure.
I just want to say that if you are thinking about taking a polygraph test voluntarily to prove your innocense......DON'T! These machines are about as accurate at showing deception as a person flipping a coin.
I am currently on a crusade to remove the polygraph testing from our contract to prevent any other co-workers from going through what I did.
