Would anyone suggest taking a muscle relaxor such as Robaxin, before taking a poly test ??

No. There is no reason to take any drug before a polygraph interrogation. You'll find a detailed description of polygraph procedure and how to pass these "tests" (which are not valid psychometric tests) in The Lie Behind the Lie Detector.
