CT certified officer polygraph

I am a certified police officer in CT. I am thinking of applying to another department and I can't help but think about how much I hated taking a polygraph test when first getting my current LE job. I would have to take another one for the dept I decide to transfer to. Here are my questions:

1) For CT certified officers, are the polygraph questions the same as the ones that civilian candidates are asked? In other words, if I took a poly a couple of years ago, am I going to take the same exact poly again?

2) Is it common practice that my old polygraph results will be compared to my new polygraph results? There is nothing I plan on lying about but If my mind slips or I can't remember something I said on my original poly, will that be held against me?

From what I have heard from other certified CT officers who applied to new departments, the questions are very similar if not the same.

Given the small number of agencies/businesses that conduct LE screening polygraphs in Connecticut, I would expect (though I have no direct knowledge) that any previous polygraph results will be made available to the polygraph operator.
