The fifth meeting (the fourth public one) of the National Academy of Sciences/National Research Study to Review the Scientific Evidence on the Polygraph is scheduled for Wednesday, 17 October 2001 at 3:30 P.M. at:

Washington, D.C. 20007

The FBI's recently-retired top polygraph expert, Dr. Drew C. Richardson, is scheduled to speak.

I plan to be in attendance to hear Dr. Richardson speak.  I strongly advise anyone else living in the area with interest in polygraph issues to be there as well.  

Note that these will be Dr. Richardson's first public comments on polygraph issues since he was muzzled by the FBI some years ago.

Unfortunately, owing to a prior commitment I will be unable to attend-- otherwise I would certainly be front and center. ;D

Dr. Richardson, best of luck... I hope any prepared notes or commentary will find its way here soon, as I am eager to hear your unbridled comments on the subject of polygraphy.

This is truly a great moment that I also would have enjoyed being able to sit in the front row also.

I too eagerly await Dr. Richardson's comments.
