I am applying for a Secret clearance with the US Army. I believe that I was mis-diagnosed with ADHD at the age of 21. I am now 24 and off of medication with no adverse behavior. What can I do to lessen the impact of the three visits I made to the psychiatrist?

This will have absolutely no bearing on whether or not you receive a Secret DoD clearance. If this is the only reason you saw a psychologist / psychiatrist AND there are no suitability issues - past or present, DoD adjudicators will favorably grant you a Secret clearance. Just tell the truth. Answer any pertinent question on your SF-86 truthfully and tell your DSS (OPM) investigator the truth, if interviewed.  Any discovered false statement will most likely cause a denial of your clearance.
