Relevant v.s Controll ???

My question is if you have to lie on a relevant question and use CM's, and then when a controll question is asked and you were to use CM's on that question as well, then would that create an inconclusive chart?

A polygraph examination will be inconclusive if reactions to relevant and control questions are about the same. To pass, one needs to produce stronger reactions to the control questions than any "naturally" occuring reactions to the relevant questions.

Once one understands what utter and complete nonsense polygraph testing is, the relevant questions may no longer be so intimidating, and it is not a foregone conclusion that by answering them falsely one will produce a significant reaction.

You will also note in Amazed's post the fear, anger, and frustration that this website causes polygraphers. They are upset at seeing the tricks of their trade made public. But they are absolutely powerless to do anything about it

If you want people to believe that it is not to their advantage to use polygraph countermeasures, then why don't you take Dr. Richardson's polygraph countermeasure challenge and prove it?

Just to answer the statement in Amazed's post, did you or did you not fail your polygraph exam?

Polygraph #1: I was completely honest, but nonetheless failed. I was accused of lying about illegal drug use. I have never used any illegal drug.

Polygraph #2: Having failed polygraph #1, I did my research,  found this site among others, and read TLBTLD. Again, I was completely honest (except about having researched the poly). I answered all relevant question truthfully, employed countermeasures on the controls (which were easy to spot) and passed.

So you were completely honest and you passed.  OK that's fine.  But the question was fom someone who has already said he will be lying.  Do you really want to help him?

"Mean" is precisely the right word to describe "Amazed," yourself, and the great majority of polygraphers who post on this site. Not only do you lack any empathy for those who have been falsely labeled as liars by the polygraph, you also make fun of them.

It is not difficult to understand that an invalid test, such as CQT polygraphy, will produce inaccurate results.

If you wish to sniff out bullshit, look to the teachings and doctrines of the polygraph community.
