Polygraphers expect truthful subjects to react more strongly to "control" questions than to relevant questions. Indeed, this is the key to passing the "test." While a polygrapher might choose to question a subject about any strong reaction(s) to a probable-lie "control" question (and one can readily imagine how possible admissions to such might be disqualifying), to the best of my knowledge it is not the FBI's standard operating procedure to do so.

Be aware that you have provided enough information in your post for the FBI HQ polygraph unit to positively identify you, and it quite possibly already has. If offered a re-test, I think it would be prudent during the pre-test phase, when you're asked about whether you've researched the polygraph, that you be candid and mention that you've visited AntiPolygraph.org and posted on the message board here.

It is to be hoped that the FBI HQ polygraph unit will not automatically "fail" you a second time in retaliation for having had the intellectual curiosity to investigate polygraphy after having been falsely accused of deception (based on a procedure that the National Academy of Sciences has deterimined to be without scientific basis).
