Lose a TS clearance for failing polygraph.

If a person had a DOD top secret clearance and that person wanted to get a
SCI/Full scope lifestyle polygraph for another job. Would that person lose thier TS
for failing the Polygraph. More specifically for lying about
homosexual activity on the polygraph. Is this a risk that should be taken given the 50% failure rate?
