I am going to be taking a military polygraph, is there anything diffrent from what in the manual ?

The primary polygraph screening format used by the Department of Defense and component agencies is the directed-lie Test for Espionage and Sabotage, which is described in The Lie Behind the Lie Detector and also in my article, "The Lying Game: National Security and the Test for Espionage and Sabotage."

However, if you are being detailed to NSA, you might be administered a General Question Test (a format not covered in the 1st edition of The Lie Behind the Lie Detector.) Regarding this format, see my earlier message board post:
