Quick Question about my Poly

I took my poly about a week ago. He said he couldn't get  a good reading on my fingers. He was going to send the results up to HQ anyways but said I might have to take another one. What does this mean? Is this bad? Has this happened to anyone else? Thanks for your responses.

While it is hard to imagine how this development could be considered "good," it's not clear that it's necessarily bad, either. The polygrapher's comment means that you were not showing strong responses on the electrodermal channel of the polygraph instrument. Even without scorable reactions on the electrodermal channel, it should be possible to score your polygraph charts. Your polygrapher's comment, though, suggests that the HQ of the agency involved may decide that a "re-test" should be conducted.

Sounds like your examiner had an NDI result, however due to problems with the EDA tracing, it might be close to inconclusive.  He's concerned that the quality control persons might come up with an inconclusive result and thus a second series would be necessary.  The worst you should have to worry about is doing it again.  If the test were DI, you would have been told such in post-exam and if the examiner thought it was inconclusive, a second series would likely have been done (or scheduled) there and then.
