they are not going to interview only the names you provide, they will interview others you don't provide.

But what if they references listed don't know about the prior marijuana use? Then is it worth it to omit?

it will make a bigger impact when they do the background check and find out by interviewing friends, neighbors, co-workers.  Someone will tell them.  List ALL prior drug use on the SF-86.  Each agency has their own threshold for disqualifying drug use, based on type, frequency, and last use.

Including saying I picked up a few gs from my friend a couple times? I don't think they would be able to ascertain that information.


How bad of an impact would that make?

Received a conditional offer. Have not used marijuana in the last 3 years (this is a requirement to apply). However, I have in the last 7 years, while I was in college. I also bought a g or two form my buddy a couple times while I was in college too. It was a stupid and immature decision that I regret making. I have moved on from that period in my life and do not plan on going back there. 


I need to submit the sf86 this week to the agency.


Am I fucked?
