I don't know anything about the DEA polygraph (other than that it is probably not much different from any other polygraph screening), but I have to take exception to the above comment.

Since when does the desire to obtain as much information as possible before walking into a strange place with strange people ("strange" meaning unknown, not odd) administering a strange procedure render one unsuitable for a law enforcement position?  I'd call that "intelligence."
