2 years ago I took the polygraph for the L.A.P.D and did not pass. On my initial application I indicated that I only smoked marijuana a couple time which is true. I had also tried mushrooms when I was a freshman in High School but I did not disclose this on my initial application with the L.A.P.D. During the polygraph the drug questions came up as deceptive. I was very nervous and admitted that I had tried mushrooms. the polygraph examiner had me fill out a statement of when I tried mushrooms and I wrote a small explanation. The examiner took my statement and i believe it is attached with my polygraph results on record.

I am applying for the CBP position and now have to take the polygraph once again. I am also trying to get a test date for a local county sheriff.

My question is, are my polygraph results and statement accessible to other agencies such as the CBP when they do my background investigation on me? Will the CBP or other police or sheriff agency be able to find my results from the LAPD?
