Polygraphers don't usually tell those who pass the polygraph that they have passed. But they usually make it clear to those who haven't that they haven't. The fact that you were not subjected to a post-test interrogation is a pretty good indication that your polygraph operator didn't score your charts as "deception indicated."

Hopefully, you'll be receiving good news soon.

i had my first polygraph today for a detention officer...i told him right away that i had used marijuana a couple times in the past he asked me a few questions about that and also reasked a question about job history....but no post test interogation when i asked him how i did he said i did okay...was he just saying this possibly? do you think the marijuana use in the past could stop me from getting the job..he really didn't say anything after the test i have bad anxiety and could feel my pulse racing at a couple questions but i know i was telling the truth..would that effect it? do they usually tell you if you passed or failed afterwards? what are your opinions..thanks!
