Is there an estimate as to when AntiPolygraph.org will have an update on the allegations regarding Trimarco?

Many thanks to all who contributed! We have reached our target, and the transcript has been ordered. A report will follow once the transcript has been received and reviewed.

UPDATE (12 July 2007): A review of the evidence failed substantiate the allegations received. No wrongdoing was found. See Report of Investigation into Allegations Concerning John R. "Jack" Trimarco.

AntiPolygraph.org has received credible and specific allegations that on 16 February 2007, polygrapher John R. "Jack" Trimarco, in sworn testimony before an arbitrator appointed by the Los Angeles County Civil Service Commission in Case No. 06-018, made false statements (demonstrated to be untrue on cross-examination) regarding:
  • the level of payment he received for his services;
  • his relation with a polygraph examiner who reviewed his charts;
  • the reason that the polygraph examination of an examinee was terminated.
On Saturday, 7 April 2007, an e-mail message was sent to Mr. Trimarco <jtrimarco@aol.com> asking him directly whether the aforementioned allegations are true. Although in a 14 November 2006 appearance on the Coast to Coast AM with George Noory radio program, Trimarco stated, "I've never gotten an e-mail that I didn't answer one way or another," he has yet to answer this one.

Trimarco is arguably the most high-profile polygraph examiner in America today. A retired FBI special agent, he is the former head of the Los Angeles Field Office's polygraph unit, the former "Inspector General" of the Department of Energy's polygraph program (for which he also appeared in a video), and is a board member and chairman of the Ethics Committee of the California Association of Polygraph Examiners. He is known to the public through his hosting of Court TV's gameshow Fake Out, recent appearances on the popular Dr. Phil show (17 November 2006 and 4 April 2007) and on Fox News's The O'Reilly Factor (22 February 2007), as well as radio interviews (as recently as 10 April 2007). Trimarco is also, coincidentally, the polygrapher who in 1995 administered AntiPolygraph.org co-founder George Maschke's FBI pre-employment polygraph examination.

To document these allegations, we will need to obtain a transcript of Mr. Trimarco's testimony in the hearing, which was transcribed by Barbara Weinstein & Associates Court Recorders, a private firm in Huntington Beach, CA (tel. 714-964-7102). Ms. Weinstein has quoted a price of $740 for the transcript of Trimarco's testimony. AntiPolygraph.org co-founders George Maschke and Gino Scalabrini are prepared to put up $100 each toward the cost of this transcript. Might you be willing to help, too? If so, a non-deductible contribution for this purpose may be made by credit card or PayPal. Alternatively, a check or money order made out to AntiPolygraph.org may be sent to:
