I was notified by the CIA in October that my clearance had gone through, yet I am unable to start working until July/August because I am in a teaching contract.

They said that my clearance needs to be renewed in April (after 6 months).  What does this 'renewal' consist of?  My POC said it was not that big of a deal, but I was just wondering if anyone had been through it.

Thanks!
