The polygraph test questions contradict what the kids are saying...so much so, the detective who gave me the polygraph didn't persue any criminal charges. The polygraph cleared me and my husband, though the kids are still lying about the topic.  I need the polygraph for the kids therapist to prove my innocence and help my kids...

Quote from: dinie on Jun 15, 2006, 09:23 PMI totally agree, but the police department/DA says I cannot have it.  I need it to help my children who were the accusers and who are lying and the polygraph proves it. I have a letter to send today to request the polygraph so we will see what happens. Will keep you posted. but also my lawyer cannot even acquire it, because they say there is no on-going investigation/case that will warrant the polygraph results, i just need it for me to prove to a therapist that my kids are lying and need help. what else can i do??
also, cps knows i passed, don't care, has the results, but won't give it either.
How are the results of a polygraph going to prove that the kids were lying?

Whether you can compel this agency to release your polygraph results to you will likely depend on your state's public record laws. It might help if you filed a formal request for the polygraph records through a lawyer, with reference to the relevant law (possibly) requiring disclosure.

On its face, the argument that the record of your polygraph examination cannot be released to you because it concerns yourself in a criminal case seems completely arbitrary and capricious. Releasing your polygraph report to you would in no way compromise any investigation.

I need help acquiring a polygraph test that "I" insisted on taking and I PASSED. No criminal charges were filed, nothing proceeded with the investigation.
I need to get this test for myself, but was told I could not because it concerned myself in the criminal investigation. please help, thanx.
