In that case, if the Background Investigators can not go back past his 6 years in the USA all the way since he was 18yo, will that disqualify him for getting the job?

Anyone else knows how the hiring of Contract Linguists works...???

Thanks.

Hello there:

A good friend of mine has just become a naturalized US Citizen and wants to apply to the FBI Contract Linguist position but someone else told him that the FBI background check goes back since the candidate is 18 yo. Is that true...??? He has only been in the USA for 6 years, will the FBI investigators check information also in his native country..??
