This depends on the agency and the job for which you applied.

Safe zone for security clearance is usally 7 years prior to the application for the job.

To be honest 2 years ago is somewhat too recent for most agencies.

I'm interviewing for a job with Security clearance needed.  I've smoked weed two years ago, and havent done it since.  Does this disquaify me from getting the job?
