Quote from: Brandon Hall on May 24, 2005, 12:56 AM***Kootenai County sheriff's Captain Ben Wolfinger has confirmed that Steven Groene, the father of 9-year-old Dylan and 8-year-old Shasta, failed a polygraph test; but Wolfinger calls that insignificant and attributes it to stress, and repeats that Groene is not a suspect in the abduction of his two children and the murders of his ex-wife Brenda Groene, their 13-year-old son Slade, and Brenda's boyfriend. Yesterday, Groene told Geraldo Rivera that police believe he lied during his polygraph test and that he didn't have a strong alibi.***
Sounds as if valid evidence was discovered. Be assured that without valid evidence to back up Groene's story the polygraph failure would not be insignificant in the eyes of investigators, nor would stress be a valid reason for the failure. Polygraph: a fair-weather tool of convience.
