Countermeasures such as tongue-biting and sphincter contraction must be applied only on the "control" questions. Augmenting reactions to all questions will not help one to pass. I suggest that you carefully read Chapters 3 & 4 of The Lie Behind the Lie Detector.

I have a polygraph test tomarrow for a job.I have read some the ebook that has been posted through out this message board,But i have some questions.If i were to bite my tongue or use the spincter retraction method on all questions..would this fail me?
also what are the best procedures you guys went through and came out successful?

Any help regarding this questions will be greatly appreciated.
