On another note, the questions being asked, and being brought to light in the story regarding sex with animals, etc are being asked of the applicant during the pre-poly interrogation.  The actual questions asked while being hooked to the machine are very generic (I.E. Have you been completely honest with me in your responses to the questions I asked earlier regarding your sexual past, drug past, etc).

I thought this line of questioning was illegal from labor standpoints here in Canada?

A little excerpt from a local paper regarding some of the questions they are asking local fire fighter candidates during their polys.  Polys were implemented into the fired departments hiring practice after one of their own was charged with pimping.  The union is starting to fight the polys implementation.  This should be fun to follow.
