They're not the only department that has an extremely high dq rate because of the poly.  Phoenix, LVMPD, and LAPD are a few more of the disillusioned ones that rely so much on this archaic and absurd device.  I suggest they use palm reading as an alternative.

From what Ive heard, There is a mojor disqualification rate of applicants who take this agencys exam. I personally dont think that more than 50% of the applicants would falsify any information. I am very curious if anyone here can provide me with any type of information regarding the polygraph examination for the Florida Highway Patrol, Does anyone know if they have a 60% disqualification rate in the polygraph as the Connecticut State police does. Ive always wanted polygraph information on this agency.
