Waht did you use countermeasures for?  Now correct me if I am wrong, that doesn't make much sense. But to show my admiration of George and some of the other anti- twits on this board, let me agree with George....please do write your legislators....make sure you tell them that you are opposed to the polygraph...but fair being fair, make sure that you tell them that you told the truth (listen carefully George) and passed.

Of course you use countermeasures even if you have nothing to hide.  Are you seriously arguing that if you have nothing to hide, you will pass the polygraph with 100% certainty?

Lawrence,

Congratulations on passing this hurdle, and good luck in the rest of the hiring process!

Now that the polygraph is behind you, I hope you'll consider working with us in exposing the polygraph for the fraud that it is by sharing what you've learned with relatives, friends, and acquaintances. It would also be helpful to write to your representive and senators in Congress asking them to sponsor a Comprehensive Employee Polygraph Protection Act that would end polygraph screening once and for all. In addition, you could help spread the word by placing any of our
posters at appropriate locations in your area.

No, the only thing I lied about was my knowledge of polygraphs.

Lawrence,
Did you have anything to hide on the relevant issues?

I took my polygraph yesterday for a major metropolitan department on the east coast.  Let's just say the polygrapher never knew what hit him.  Everything he said and did happened almost exactly as described in TLBTLD.  The control question were extremely easy to identify and I wasn't suspected of using CM's (I did).

I just want to take this opportunity to thank George and Gino for what they've done on this site.  The book was invaluable to me and anyone who has to take a polygraph test would do well to heed their advice.  You guys are doing something here that is really helping people out.
