Your response is well taken. I am to taking my first polygraph, and dont want to overdue counter measures. You said you passed a lot doing the breathing techniques.  Can you explain wich ones you used, and how you used them.

Yea I failed that since I never got a call back. I think I really over did it and there was nothing in the book about OVER doing countermeasures especially mental ones. Ive since just use the breathing techniques and have managed to pass several.

QuoteI used only MENTAL countermeasures and it produced such significant reactions and he never called me out on using any countermeasures before, during or after the test so im wondering why would he show me the chart and ask why I have such strong responses?

Sounds to like he suspects you of using countermeasures.  Those must have been some really hard math questions you were going over in your head!  :o

Let us know if you pass.  It would be an example of the successful use of CMs.

Hello I recently took a polygraph test and after the test the polygrapher showed me the charts on his computer and asked why I had such significant reactions to theses 3 questions (All of them control questions). I saw the chart and my GSR was practically off the charts to the control questions and my BP was high for some controls also but almost flat line to the relevant and irrelevant questions. He even said my BP raised "11 standard deviations" to the have you ever lied to an authority figure question.

I told him that those questions are very general and made me nervous and hes like "ok but you didn't move or anything on purpose did you?" and I said no. He then said the department is gonna look over the test and call me.
