Quote from: skip.webb on Nov 05, 2007, 01:02 PMOne may calculate the heart rate and respiration rate by looking at the 5 second time markers on the polygraph chart. Simply count the beats in a 10 second interval and multiply by 6.  Same with respiration rate although a little longer interval is better.  Number of cycles in a 20 second interval multiply by 3.  Blood pressure is not given or calculated.

Thank-you Mr. Webb.

When a chart is made, does the computer calculate the number of beats per minute, the blood pressure, the breathing rate?  Is that displayed on the screen for the polygrapher to see?
