In theory, it is against the law for private and government employers to descriminate against persons who are mentally ill.  The practice in the USA does not always match the theory.

Good Luck.

Hey, I was reading across this forum and I had a question about mental health. In high school I did some wrestling and every once in a while I'd have to force myself to vomit in order to make weight. It was something I only did a few times, and I didn't continue it as a practice once I was done with school (the last time I did it had to be over 3 years ago). Is that thing going to disqualify me from a job in government? Also, what kinds of stuff do they ask you about psychologically?
