There is a petition.  The link is in the upper right corner of the main page of this site.  I tried signing it recently from three different IPs but not one of them worked because the people running the petition site have blocked large chunks of IPs for who knows what.  They claim it's because people have been posting bogus signatures up there.  I couldn't even send them an email through their "contact us" link because it blocks the IPs as well!  Anyway, good luck.
