When you fill out this form (the SF-86 is the form you fill out that has all of your personal/criminal/military background, etc...) - does your employer get to see all of the information that is listed?

Meaning, if you are consulting, your company has to submit the documents for the clearance on your behalf.   Is there a procedure to this that keeps them from seeing the completed SF-86?

I would imagine that this is a 'private' thing, but I just don't know so I thought I would ask.

Thanks in advance.
