Okay. Here is the deal. I am currently in the process with several sheriff departments and I am wondering if, when they run my name with local departments, they will find out that I was a victim of a crime. I have no criminal history BUT I was listed as a victim on a DR report. I feel this is really private info and I am wondering if their search encompasses your presence as a witness, victim, and/or suspect or only if you are the suspect/ perpatrator? I really do not want this info to be involved int he proces. However, I would rather discuss it with them privately than have it mentioned. Any thoughts?
