Can anyone cite the 2-3 best and most current research studies on polygraph validity and reliability to use when testifying in court. Also, where can I find them?

Use the meta-analysis executive summary (or the MA itself). The summary is on the APA website. That's the most recent. Then, cite the NAS 2003 study, and point out how the two pretty much reach the same conclusions. You can also use the Honts and Raskin chapter in Kleiner. It's older, but it's got a lot of the foundation information.

It's not as easy as just citing a study or two, but that's a start.

Thanks Barry.

I am not an APA member. Thus, I do not have access to their site. I have received some great private emails from this post they have put me in the right direction. Thanks for the help(as always).

Ted

The executive summary is available to anybody on the APA site.
