All,

I just got my new "Polygraph" (dated Jul/Aug 2007) to read it and see Dick Arther died in July?!

I know it usually takes a while for the Pony Express to get news to us out here in the wild west, but Dang!

No-one even mentioned it on this page! Was anyone else in the dark on this?

Jim

Jim,

This is the first I have heard about this.

I'm sorry guys. I thought I mentioned it. If I didn't, I meant to do so, but that doesn't help you any does it?

The memoriam was very nice and very informative. Our history fascinates me, and I learned a few things reading it. Thanks again, Dr. Barland!

Barry,

I'm just astounded that one of the "founding fathers" of modern polygraph dies and no-one mentions it... Any news on who will run the academy?

Best Regards,

Jim

It was mentioned - and a lot I might add, but it all must have been via emails.

I understand Cathy is going to keep the school going.

Barry,

wile I'm not a "hippo", I do recognize the contribution Arther gave to our profession. I was just surprised that it wasn't more prominent in conversation.

Thanks,

Jim

If anybody missed Gordon's tribute in the APA newsletter, I've posted a copy with Gordon's permission at: http://home.earthlink.net/~jrwygant/Arther.html
