I would like to apologize to Skip Webb for my over reaction to his posting regarding my question about Mac and related software I realize that when making a post, I should accept all the feedback good, bad, ugly or indifferent. If I can't ... then I should not be making any posts. Skip.. please accept my apology.

Dan: I'm not anything like Dan... I have been on the recieving end of his malarky up close and personal. I certainly don't want to come accross that way or be recieved in that light.

I joind polygraph place to learn.

Mark

Mark, I certainly didn't take your post to be anything other than an opinion as was my comment. I realize the Apple OS and computer is excellent and doesn't suffer some of the problems associated with the Windows OS.

My point was that in the big world of computers a software designer is looking at hundreds of millions of potential users. 10% (Apple) of that number is still huge and therefore profitable.

Polygraph sales are only in the low thousands of potential users and therefore Apple would make up only a few hundred at best. With even a 25% market share, writing a second software for a second OS and supporting and maintaining that software for 25 or so people would not be economically sound.

By example, as a left handed person, driving on the left side of the road feels very natural to me and sitting on the right side of the car while doing so mentally makes sense to me as well. I reliaze that the majority of people in the US are right handed (about 90%)so I really don't expect the change to left hand driving to occur any time soon or for the rest of the folks and car maker to let me drive my way.

Interestingly, the analog instruments of the past were perfectly suited to left handed people. We could make notes and chart markings with our left hand while making adjustments with our right. I loved it!

Well you know,

Jimmy Hendrix was a lefty, and instead of insisting on a special instrument he simply turned is Fender Strat upside down.

just sayin'...

I played in a rock bank as a teenager(that's rock and roll not acid rock) and I played a Fender Stratacaster upside down as well. Still do. tried to swwitch when we started making some good money and bought a leftie but couldn't play it.

I own a nice American made stratocaster myself! Can't beat them even flipped upside down.
