Really need help passing my poly

Really need yalls help. Have a polygraph coming up in a month for a Leo  and am super nervous. it is my first one and I have done my research and have read tlbtld. I really worried about not being able to identify all control questions and am worried of being accused of applying countermeasures and having a inconclusive test and messing up . So my thought / question is this . Would mentally freaking out and having abnormal breathing on ALL control questions work as I answer ALL truthfully and of course during relevant have a clear mind and controlled breathing ? I just feel Weird looking like a liar when being asked obvious questions and was looking for a more "safer" way to pass my poly. Thanks lads .

Why do you believe your proposed strategy is safer than that we describe in Chapter 4 of The Lie Behind the Lie Detector?

Hey George , thanks for the response . And I was only thinking that my strategy would work because you would be giving the polygraph what they want, high comparable reactions on control questions while not looking bad in the end as far as lying about obvious questions. And during the relevant , proceed with the controlled breathing and clear mind . In the end of my proposed strategy wouldn't you have the result as the one in the book tlbtld. Higher reactions compared to relevant ?
  Would this work George ?

No. It will not work. When you answer a probable-lie "control" question truthfully, for example, by replying "yes" when asked if you ever lied to someone who loved and trusted you, the polygraph operator will interrogate you about that, and after obtaining any admissions will rephrase the question as "Other than what you told me, did you ever...? See the discussion of probable-lie "control" questions at pp. 97 ff. of the 4th edition of The Lie Behind the Lie Detector.
