Caught lying on polygraph

So I was caught lying (over something really stupid as well) on a pre-employment polygraph for a LEA and I admitted to as such during the post-polygraph interview. I know, it was stupid of me to lie, let alone to admit to such afterward. I wasn't aware of just how pseudo science these things were and thought for sure the machine was just that good.

My question is how much is this information shared between agencies? This was an out-of-state agency and I'm now processing for more local ones. Not sure if I should disclose the information that got caught lying on the polygraph, just tell them that I failed without saying why, or if I should omit it altogether in hopes they don't find out/inquiry. I'm being 100% truthful going forward about everything else now, but not sure if this is something I should be upfront about or only bring up if they ask. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

For what it's worth, the agency I failed with were the Pennsylvania State Troopers.
