Question About Polygraphs

Can law-enforcement pre-employment polygraph results generally be released to non-law enforcement private companies whom are in no way related with law-enforcement (such as a retail employer or such)?

The private employer receiving the results would likely be in violation of the Employee Polygraph Protection Act
