Have a polygraph where examiner/expert had person write down 3 statements on paper, one of them a 7 part compound statement. 

Then Polygrapher only asked 3 questions is your statement written true and accurate, accurate and true was it the truth.

Probable lie control questions technique used. and used Stan Abrams polygraph testing of the pedophile

What is this about and is this a proper testing format???????

Control question test polygraphy has no grounding in the scientific method. Those who derive income from administering these invalid tests are the last ones you want to go to for an unbiased assessment of the technique (though you'll want to be aware of what they've written). As for scholarly articles, a good one to start with is Professor William G. Iacono's "Forensic 'Lie Detection': Procedures Without Scientific Basis":
