You can count on there being a high degree of sharing regarding information---as when you fill out your sf86, you give (among other things) permission of the applicable branch to search your various applicant histories. If you failed your last polygraph for sexual reasons---then you will have big problems and they might just follow you around like a goose around your neck. Contrary to the commonly held belief that spies commit espionage for money, the fact is that along with greed--- sexual activity is a serious detrimental behavior and is underreported by media. The guise and various philosophies of some agencies are cloaked in morality/integrity---but the reality is ---and let's be honest, even without sensetive information rattling around in your brain, people who are forever single (sans gay marriage) or at least until our country begins to accept gay marriage ------is  unfortunately still looked upon as deviant rather than taken case by case amongst the hard core feds in intel----no suprise. There is an empirical reason that feds are so interested in sexual history---as sexual secrets have caused a lot of headaches for many agencies. As with other minority challenges in this ethno-centric and homo-phobic culture, a gay man/woman working for high end fed agencies must be a superior hire for them to overlook the uncommonalities.
