If you are a cop with one force and then you apply to another police force that requires a poly...and you fail.....Do they rat you out to your current force and get you fired?

However, you do raise a valid issue and supportive concern with respect to a failed pre-employment polygraph exam following you throughout your career path. 
 
In short, it is my understanding that upon written request or query put forth on behalf of a valid LE agency, {not necessarily a private investigator or investigative firm} it is not uncommon for LE agencies to openly and freely "share" information with respect to polygraph test results, as it would apply to a specific candidate or test subject.
