Sinus Arrhythmia and Polygraphs

This is totally ridiculous.  I've taken several polygraphs now that have been listed as "inconclusive" or "no conclusion", and have been totally honest on all of my questions.  I have even tried using the countermeasures to reinforce that fact, yet, have not been able to pass yet.

The latest reason I have heard from a polygrapher is that she thinks I have a heart problem.  I looked into it more closely, and went to a doctor to discuss the matter.  The doctor noted that I have a "Sinus Arrhythmia", or irregular heart beat, which is a technically normal heart condition.

I further asked the doctor if this was the type of thing that could screw up a polygraph, or make it difficult to tell the truth or not.  After his schpiel on the inaccuracy of polygraphs, he stated that just about any heart condition, no matter how insignificant, can misconstrue the results of a polygraph.

Furthermore, my therapy provider and Probation Officer are requiring that I get a second opinion, that I cannot afford.  I have two months left of probation, and I am getting sick of this.  I am now asking the doctor to give me detailed information concerning Sinus Arrhythmia, and how (in his professional opinion) it can screw up the results of a polygraph.

My Probation Officer is requiring that I get a final polygraph.  I have called the polygrapher that took my original polygraph, and that person flatly refuses to take my polygraph.  The polygrapher said that it would be in my best interest to see a doctor concerning my heart and whether or not the condition can be remedied.

I have seen a doctor since, and the condition cannot be remedied without open heart surgery, which I 1) cannot afford, and 2) am not willing to do just to satisfy their "requirements".  I'd rather go to jail than risk open heart surgery and dying, thank you very much.

Sorry for the rant.  I'm getting sick and tired of the state ruling my life based on an inaccurate piece of antiquated machinery that seems to be the basis on how they control your life while out on probation.
